Get to
Know Me

Greeting fellow design folks,
I am Ishita Galada, a recent design graduate with a major in interior design. 4 years back, my love for design took me on an international multi-city design course offered by the UID School of Design in Gandhinagar, Gujrat. The journey took us to some of the renowned universities of the world while exploring design and how it is shaped by location, culture, and nature. The NABA School of Design was the first stepping stone where we witnessed awe-inspiring Italian architecture and serene Italian landscapes. Then the course took us to the land ‘Down Under’ to Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne where we witnessed the practical Australian homes with technology and modern infrastructure.
Lastly, the course took us to the vibrant student city of the UK, to the campus of Nottingham Trent University. We got to witness the allure of Neo-Classical built by the British monarchs and beautiful landscapes and Castles of Scotland. The course helped us explore the borderless language of design and really gave us a global perspective where utility meets aesthetic.
Further to my education, I have spent time in a 3-month internship to learn more about functional yet inspiring design by celebrity interior designer Mr. Shantanu Garg. Under his wing, I got the opportunity to work on some really good projects in India at great locations like Ram Bagh Palace, Jaipur as well as work on projects for some high-class clients like Mr. MS Dhoni and Jassi Gill and so on as well as the opportunity to give input to new and upcoming resorts in Dubai and Maldives.
Recently, I got an opportunity to witness the Foshan Furniture market in China and got to witness some of the best mass-produced trends in Interior design along with assisting in budgeting and selection of an 8-bedroom family home furniture and furnishings and lastly the import procedure and logistics.
Further to graduating, I have been interning at a home interior showroom to understand better materials and home solutions and the latest trends and monetary pricing of materials used.
I am curious to design and build form and functionality with everything around us to make our daily lives as convenient and aesthetic as possible. If you believe I can add value to you or learn from you or your organization. Please reach out to the below details. Thanks for being a part of my journey.
